Mission

The Executive Secretary serves as the guardian of the corporate and ecclesiastical records of the conference. He is responsible for conference Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation, statistical data, minutes, credentials/licenses of employees, and the organization of churches. In reality, this chronicling the story of God's blessing being poured out in the growth of churches as they reach their communities with the story of Jesus.  

The Administrative Operation of this office includes:
  • Provide counsel and advice to pastors and local church leaders regarding the SDA Church Manual and other policy matters
  • Officiating functions
  • Preaching in the churches throughout the conference
  • Organizing groups, companies, and churches
  • Conflict management for churches, schools, and personnel when initial first-level resolution is unsuccessful
  • Maintaining full and complete records of the proceedings of the Conference Executive Committee and ARKLA Constituency Sessions
  • Approve and issue credentials and licenses to all eligible employees
  • Compile and manage membership data for statistical reports
  • Statistical records and archives
  • Oversee human resources for the conference
