Children's Ministries

The Children's Ministries department is dedicated to the support and training of the leaders and teachers of the children in our churches across the conference. Children's ministries takes place at churches, camp meetings, and evangelistic meetings. Each year, the department supports churches as they conduct Vacation Bible School and Sabbath School in their areas.

October 23 - 24, 2026 RETREAT AT CAMP YORKTOWN BAY

The Arkansas-Louisiana Conference Children’s Ministries Department is having our first retreat ever at Camp Yorktown Bay on Oct. 23-24, 2026. The North American Division, Southwestern Union, and ARKLA Conference Children’s Ministries personnel will be presenting for the weekend. So mark your calendar, watch for more exciting information and registration details coming soon!

Thunder Island VBS

The Texas ABC has the Thunder Island (and other) VBS programs available. If an ARKLA Conference Church sends their receipt to the Conference Office, C/O Children's Ministries, they will get a $50 refund. Also, call to make arrangements for extra supplies and props for this VBS.
