The South Louisiana Spanish Camp Meeting this year was themed “The Last 5 Minutes,” but it took more than five minutes to carry out the crusade. After ten evenings of meetings in various churches with successive sermons on
end-time messages, a convocation on Sabbath followed an Evangelistic Caravan.
The meetings were also live-streamed so those who were unable to attend could participate from home. During the meeting, a significant number of attendees were non-Adventist, and 32 baptisms were held the first week, followed by another 42 baptisms on the final Sabbath, for a total of 73 souls committing their lives to follow the Savior. Conference President, Elder Rick Dye preached the messages of hope, while Pastor Leonardo Melendez, our Conference Evangelism Director translated. Special thanks to Pastor Benjamin Orian and Pastor Daniel Hoover for their technological skills in making the broadcast possible. These pictures just touch on some highlights from the events.
